Always wanted to play agility?

To the left is a standard agility course.  It features all the obstacles found in the sport of agility.  Dogs are not born knowing the sport but they do catch on with proper training.  You must located a trainer in your area for the safety of your dog plus making needed contacts.  Agility people are great and welcoming but everyone needs introductions.  Find a trainer and attend a local trial to make these needed connections.  This is a fun sport, follow along with me for training tips and directions.

The best place to start!

A little more info

It has been a fun, amazing journey to this point.  I've discovered new friends along the way.  With each trip or trial, I discover new ones to add to an extensive list of good dog loving friends.  There is a level of competition driving all of us to succeed but the competition is more internal.  We all want success for our fellow competitors.  We know what it took for us to achieve success and want the same for others.

Breanna's addition to the pack has triggered the idea of showing training from the beginning.  Fiona was the first agility dog in the family.  Prior to Fiona, agility wasn't on my radar.  Now all our dogs are well trained with titles and awards.  The above picture is Daphne earning her first AKC MACH.  To the left is Fiona with all her awards.  Not pictured is me judging in two of the four agility venues we compete.  Nor is a picture of me during taping of the national tv show on agility I hosted for two years.  I also do seminars around the country and raise money for K9 cancer research through Purdue University.  Now let's get some puppies trained.

Daphne is the current star in the "Sparks Circus".  She's waited her turn to be the lead actor in this play and she has stepped up well.  She holds AKC and CPE national titles.

Fiona

There's always a starting point.  This was the best starting point I could have asked for.  Fiona pasted May 2017 but left a legacy no dog can top. She taught me everything.

Daphne

The latest and next agility start in the "Sparks Circus".  She has big shoes to fill but showing great signs.  She is also the one that inspired this project.
